Application and Event monitoring statefulset operators

The community around the operator pattern and the community framework has gained a lot of traction and has matured quite a bit from its original proposal and delivery. There are increasingly more examples of technologies adopting this pattern (https://github.com/operator-framework/awesome-operators)

Managing stateful services in a declarative manner eases the administrative and operational burden for these services.

This pattern allows for continued enhancements to be delivered based on client requests and priorities. It allows for improved lifecycle management as well as automation of key operational and administrative tasks that are difficult for stateful services.

Service/workload specific automation can be delivered by developers who are extremely familiar with the workload technology to be used by operations teams, SREs, and administrators to better manage these workloads in their sites.
